Job Summary
We're looking for a Master Data Owner to join our IT team. You'll own the data that runs our business, from item and customer records in our ERP to the barcode and ASN data our customers require. You'll help us clean up our ERP data as we finalize implementation. You'll also keep our knowledge base current and organize our SharePoint files so people can find what they need. If you like fixing messy data and building systems that keep it clean, this role is for you!

Responsibilities
  • Own item, customer and vendor master data in our ERP
  • Help clean up and prepare our ERP data during implementation, including data mapping, validation and migration
  • Set up and enforce data entry procedures so only designated people can create or change the data they are responsible for
  • Find and fix bad data, including duplicates, missing fields, wrong units of measure and outdated records
  • Document each customer’s barcode, ASN and labeling requirements in our knowledge base
  • Manage barcodes and GS1 data, including UPC/GTIN assignment and SSCC labels
  • Make sure ASNs and other EDI documents go out with accurate data, and work with our EDI provider to resolve errors
  • Stay on top of customer routing guides and compliance updates, and update our data to match
  • Organize our SharePoint file network by setting up clear folder paths and naming rules, removing duplicates and archiving old files
  • Keep our knowledge base up to date with data standards, how-to guides and SOPs
  • Train team members on good data practices and how to request data changes
  • Support new item setups as they come in
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in master data, ERP administration or a similar role
  • Hands-on experience managing item, customer and vendor data in an ERP system
  • Understanding of UPC/GTIN barcodes, EDI and ASNs
  • Experience building or maintaining a knowledge base, wiki or SOP library
  • Strong Excel skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, bulk uploads)
  • Experience organizing files and folders in SharePoint
Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
