About Snack Innovations

Snack Innovations is a fast-growing consumer packaged goods company with a passion for better-for-you snacking and the parent brand behind Drizzilicious, Natural Endurance, Smart Fries, and Sunday Snacks. Operating as both a private label manufacturer and direct-to-consumer snack brand innovator, we’re rapidly expanding and looking for driven, entrepreneurial people to grow with us.

We are looking for builders and doers who thrive in agile, entrepreneurial environments and are comfortable creating structure where it does not yet exist. The ideal candidate has seen best-in-class operations and knows how to adapt that experience in a fast-moving setting.

We are seeking a hands-on, high-impact Plant Director to lead daily operations across production, fulfillment, and packaging. This role is built for someone who owns the floor, drives execution, and leads from the front in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end plant operations across production, fulfillment, and shipping
  • Drive execution against aggressive timelines in a short lead-time environment
  • Maintain full visibility across all active orders and proactively ensure on-time delivery
  • Ensure daily operational readiness, including staffing, materials, and production priorities
Throughput & Efficiency
  • Optimize output across all departments by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks
  • Drive labor efficiency while managing payroll within budget
  • Implement process improvements to increase throughput without unnecessary cost
  • Balance workflows to maintain consistent and efficient production flow
Team Leadership & Accountability
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams
  • Establish clear performance metrics and hold teams accountable to results
  • Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement
  • Align closely with Scheduling and Planning to execute realistic production plans
  • Adjust labor and resources in real time based on operational demands
Food Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with GMP, FDA, HACCP, and all food safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready facility
  • Partner with QA/QC to ensure product quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Operations leadership
  • Communicate order status, risks, and recovery plans clearly and proactively
  • Support new product launches and ensure operational readiness
Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of plant or operations management experience
  • Background in food production, packaging, or regulated manufacturing required
  • Experience in high-mix, high-volume environments with short lead times
  • Strong expertise in throughput optimization, labor planning, and production execution
  • Proven leadership in fast-paced, execution-driven environments
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Working knowledge of GMP, FDA, and HACCP standards preferred
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish (A MUST)
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based upside
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • 401(k)
  • Opportunity to lead a critical operation within a growing, entrepreneurial company
  • A culture centered on accountability, speed, and continuous improvement
If you’re a leader who thrives on the floor, takes ownership of results, and knows how to drive performance in a fast-moving environment, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
